The holiday unit HELIOTOPOS is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Tolo, on the top of the hill, in a quiet area with a nice view, 12 kilometers from Nafplio, approximately 100 meters from the center of the village and 150 meters from the beach.
Tolo is 155 kilometers from Athens and 12 kilometers from Nafplio. Take the Athens – Korinth highway and head in the direction of Tripoli. On the Korinth – Tripoli road there are clear signs indicating the way to Argos – Nafplio. Through the town of Nafplio, after about 12 kilometers you will reach the seaside resort of Tolo.
Tolo is one of the most popular seaside villages of the Peloponnese. It is approximately 12 kilometers south of Nafplio in Argolida, and most of this picturesque settlement is built on the inner part of a beautiful bay.
Tolo prides itself of a magnificent beach to which it partially owes its reputation in the larger vicinity. The clear sea, the long stretch of golden fine sand and the entirely organized beach are some of the reasons it has become established as one of the most cosmopolitan beaches of Argolida. All water sports are available. It is worth taking a boat ride to the two small islands that are in the bay. On the little island of Romvi parts of the walls of a medieval castle are preserved, while on the island of Daskalio there used to be a seminary.
Tolo, due to its geographical position, can be the base from which you can visit the most important archaeological sites and historical monuments of Argolida (Argos, Mycenae, Epidavros, ancient Tyrantha, ancient Asini, Nafplio). Furthermore, during the summer seasons, there are regular local ship routes to the islands of the Argosaronic (Hydra, Spetses and Poros).
